Henri obtained his master’s degree in Bacteriology from Sorbonne Université (France) in 2018. He then started a PhD under the supervision of Pr. Jean-Emmanuel Hugonnet in Dr. Michel Arthur’s lab at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers in Paris. During his PhD, Henri studied a new β-lactam resistance mechanism in Escherichia coli, which involves the bypass of the activity of the Penicillin-Binding Proteins (PBPs) by the L,D-transpeptidase LdtD. After defending his PhD in 2022, he joined the lab of Pr. Jean-François Collet as a post-doc researcher in 2023.
