Laurie obtained her Master’s degree in Biochemistry in 2017 from the University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France. She then joined the lab of Dr Christophe Guilhot in IPBS for her PhD thesis, where she worked on the synthesis and transport pathway of complex lipids in the cell envelope of Mycobacteria. After completing her PhD in 2020, she joined the lab of Pr Jean-François Collet in 2021 to study the assembly and regulation of the outer membrane of Escherichia coli.
