Pauline graduated from the Université de Caen (France) in 2000 in microbiology. Then, she obtained her PhD in 2003 at ENSAR (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Agronomie de Rennes). She studied the tolerance of Propionibacterium freudenreichii to digestive stress using physiological and proteomic approaches, under the supervision of Dr Patrick Boyaval & Dr Gwénaël Jan (granted by INRA & Standa Industrie). In 2005, she did a first postdoc at CEA (Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique, Saclay, France), where she studied cadmium detoxication by hMRP1. In 2007, she joined the group of Jean-Francois Collet at de Duve Institute (UCL) as a postdoc. She was involved in many proteomic projects in the lab, working on periplasmic chaperones network, disulfide bond formation or two-component system (Rcs pathway). Since 2014, she is also involved in lab management
