Xi Yang obtained her Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Zhejiang University, China in 2016. Her thesis was focused on the function analysis of precocious leaf senescence gene OsPLS1 in rice. In the same year, she started her PhD in PSB, studying oxidative stress signal transduction.
